How Chalo handles account and scan information.

Last updated September 15, 2026

Information Chalo processes

When you create an account, Chalo processes authentication and profile information needed to provide the service. When you run a saved scan, Chalo stores the submitted target, result scores, findings, evidence, and timestamps under your account.

Public lite scans process the URL you submit to produce the result. Avoid submitting secrets or URLs containing credentials.

How information is used

Chalo uses this information to operate authentication, execute scans, display history, support public sharing selected by the owner, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Sharing and visibility

Saved scans are private to the account owner by default. A report becomes publicly readable only when its owner enables public sharing. Third-party infrastructure providers may process data to operate the service.

Retention and control

Authenticated scan records remain available until the owner deletes them. You may contact info@chalo.dev with privacy questions or account-data requests.
